About AdmitStats

AdmitStats publishes acceptance rates for 1,419 U.S. colleges, built entirely from official U.S. Department of Education (IPEDS) data. Where most sites show a single blended percentage — often years out of date — every AdmitStats page adds the context that number needs:

• a 10-year acceptance-rate trend, not just this year's figure;
• acceptance rate by gender, where reported;
• SAT/ACT score ranges and the school's test-score policy over time;
• yield (the share of admitted students who enroll); and
• similar colleges to compare against.

We deliberately do not publish a page for a school unless it has enough recent, reliable data to be worth reading — see our methodology and data sources.
